Stephen Lin's Boston-based Silinx Studios began as a Web and print design firm in 2001. By the end of the dotcom era (and crash), Stephen acquired experience in business development, account management, and content production while learning to coordinate and manage cross-functional teams. In the years that followed, Stephen added search engine marketing (SEM) and search engine optimization (SEO) experience to his repetoire while taking time to improve his own first-hand Web developement skills. Armed with a liberal arts education in the Internet, Stephen evolved into a consultant and trainer. Stephen's evolution has now taken him out of freelance consulting to full-time product management and product development.
Silinx Studios, too, has undergone an evolution. No longer a just marketing tool, silinx.com now stands as a focusing point for Stephen's interests. Though Stephen's professional experience lays spread across the music, student, and travel industries, his personal interests lie in many other areas including (but not restricted to) the best places to eat in Boston and the interplay of media, design, and pop culture.
